Del Mar board game maker donates games for local families

A Del Mar board game creator donated 100 sets of his latest game to the local UPS Store for families to pick up and play at home as they shelter in place because of COVID-19.The game, ZhiZhu, was invented by Dahmane Dahmani

 A Folsom family added a new twist to the game of Dominos. Four twists actually.By adding an eye-catching game board and domino tiles in four bright colors, the Dahmani family put zing in the long-established game and created ZingaMino, a game suitable for players, age 5 and older. 

 FOLSOM, CA --  A father-and-son team from Folsom is trying to revitalize and reinvent the classic game of dominoes, and the duo hopes toy marketers soon will be “zinga-ing” their new game’s praises. Dahmane Dahmani recently premiered Zingamino, the new game he and his 11-year-old son Yanni created, at the American International Toy Fair in New York City in early February. The game’s name is taken from the Swahili.....
